Wallbox and ChargeLab partner to offer charger bundle to electrical distributors – Charged EVs

Wallbox Chargers, a company that designs, manufactures and distributes EV charging systems, and ChargeLab, an EV charging software provider, have announced a partnership under which the two will work to simplify commercial EV charger deployments.

The alliance, which will focus on deployments in North America, will integrate Wallbox hardware and ChargeLab software as a bundle for electrical distributors to simplify and enhance their overall experience, Fred Turner, a Senior Director at Wallbox, said.

The bundles will include Wallbox’s DC fast charger, the Supernova 180, as well as the company’s commercial Level 2 charger, the Pulsar Pro.

By working together, the two companies will be able to “offer customers in a number of key locations across North America a holistic solution,” Turner said, adding that this will ultimately help “accelerate the transition to electric vehicles.”

In addition to either the Supernova 180 or the Pulsar Pro, the bundles will include the ChargeLab CSMS, an OCPP-compliant, cloud-based service for connecting and managing EV chargers. CSMS includes web apps for EV drivers, a dashboard for site hosts, back-office service support and application programming interface (API) access.
