This partnership is expected to lead to superior performance, reduced operational and kilometer cost, which improves the total cost of ownership (TCO).

Electric two-wheeler maker Xero EVs and battery swapping firm VoltUp Wednesday said they have tied up to deploy 15000 electric two-wheelers in the country within the next two years.

The collaboration will see the duo deploy electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries across 12 markets in the country.

Bharat Pritmani, Founder, Xero EVs, said, “This collaboration marks a turning point in the electric vehicle industry. By integrating Xero’s energy-efficient products with VoltUp’s swappable battery network, we are creating a solution that not only meets but exceeds the demands of last-mile delivery partners.”

This partnership is expected to lead to superior performance, reduced operational and kilometer cost, which improves the total cost of ownership (TCO).

“The integration of VoltUp’s platform into Xero EVs Mink model will significantly reduce charging times, enabling riders to optimize their time on the road and eliminate the waiting game associated with traditional charging or fast charging stations,” added Ritesh Singh, head of business & strategy at VoltUp.

Xero EVs provide electric transportation solutions with its two electric two-wheelers- Xero Mink and Xero Bolt. These are designed and manufactured in India. VoltUp provides swapping solutions for two-wheeled and three-wheeled electric vehicles, eliminating waiting time for users who need to charge batteries.
