TeraHive launches three energy-management solutions – Charged EVs

California-headquartered TeraHive, an energy-management software company backed by Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer LITEON Technology, has entered the US market with the launch of three systems designed to optimize energy storage, usage, efficiency and performance: TeraHive Energy Suite, Charging Station Management Solution and Enterprise Energy Management.

The platform integrates hardware and software and incorporates machine learning, forecasting, optimization and real-time control algorithms.

TeraHive Energy Suite is a modular and scalable residential energy management and battery system that stores and optimizes energy for whole-home backup protection. It automatically analyzes and learns users’ energy habits and preferences to determine the most efficient and cost-effective use.

TeraHive Charging Station Management Solution is a scalable application programming interface (API)-based software platform designed for charging point operators, fleet owners and energy companies. Its dynamic load management feature minimizes the impact of charging on electricity infrastructure by evenly distributing power to all EVs being charged.

TeraHive Enterprise Energy Management is designed for such commercial applications as data centers and retail and logistics hubs. It is scalable and provides data collection, analytics, intelligent forecasting, demand response and anomaly detection.

“Our goal is to simplify intelligent energy management using AI technology and user-friendly apps that put the control of storing and saving energy back into the user’s hands,” said Kevin Lin, co-founder of TeraHive.
