Solaris to sell 14 electric buses to the city of Szczecin, Poland – Charged EVs


The City of Szczecinin, Poland has signed an agreement with Polish electric bus manufacturer Solaris to purchase four 12-meter Urbino 12 and 10 articulated Urbino 18 electric buses. 

The vehicles will increase Szczecin’s fleet of Solaris buses to a total of 30. They will be operated by the city’s public transport company, Szczecińskie Przedsiębiorstwo Autobusowe.

The buses are equipped with Solaris High Energy batteries, which will be charged using pantograph and plug-in chargers. They will employ Solaris’s eSConnect fleet management system and will also feature a driver alcohol detection system integrated with the city’s Central Urban Transport Management System.
