Ravi Sharma joins Minda Corporation as Head of Group Communication, Branding – ET Auto


Prior to Minda Corporation, he worked with Hyundai Motor India as Head – Corporate Communications leading the product, corporate and social marketing initiatives.

New Delhi: Communications and marketing professional Ravi Sharma has joined Minda Corporation Limited as Head – Group Communications and Branding.

Sharma has 23 years of experience in strategic communication and marketing for multiple brands in various sectors.

Prior to Minda Corporation, he worked with Hyundai Motor India as Head – Corporate Communications leading the product, corporate and social marketing initiatives. Before that, he was also associated with Honda Cars India in PR & Advertising domain managing.

Minda Corporation is in the business of manufacturing auto components and caters to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 in various segments in India.

Recently, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved Minda Corporation’s proposed 8.79% stake purchase in Pricol.

The proposed combination is related to an acquisition of up to 8.79% (approx.) of the equity share capital of Pricol by Minda, as per the media release.

In May ’23 Minda Corporation said its board has decided to approach the Competition Commission of India (CCI) to increase its stake in automotive technology firm Pricol to up to 24.5%. On February 17, 2023, Minda Corporation had acquired a 15.7% stake in Pricol by purchasing over 1.91 crore shares of the latter from the open market.

Pricol and Minda compete in the two-wheeler instrument cluster business.
