Quantum Energy partners with Battery Smart for swappable batteries – ET Auto



Quantum offers a diverse range of scooters from which Bziness and its variants Bziness Pro, Bziness Lite, andBziness S are optimized for commercial fleet use.

Quantum Energy, India’s leading electric two-wheeler company, Tuesday announced a strategic partnership with Battery Smart. Through this collaboration, Battery Smart’s network of 900+ swap stations across 25+ cities will support battery swapping for Quantum’s electric scooters, enabling users to gain seamless access to fully charged batteries within two minutes, the company said.

This partnership will allow ride-hailing, last-mile delivery, and connectivity companies that utilize Quantum’s electric fleet vehicles to eliminate concerns over range anxiety and long charging downtimes. Battery Smart’s battery-as-a-service model will also reduce the cost of replacing batteries at the end of their life, thus lowering the total cost of owning a Quantum Electric scooter.

By leveraging Battery Smart’s dense battery-swapping infrastructure across urban centers, Quantum aims to be the go-to electric mobility partner for delivery, transportation, and logistics companies in India, the company said in a media release.

By enabling easy battery swapping for our commercial fleet customers, we can reduce their EV ownership costs and give them the confidence to scale their electric fleets across India.”
