Nigerian automaker Innoson launches EV lineup – Charged EVs

Nigerian automaker Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing has introduced its first line of locally-produced EVs.

The company offers four models, equipped with features like electric steering, front airbags and fully air-conditioned interiors, as well as automated rear-view mirrors and remote-control locking systems with sensors.

The five-seater Innoson IVM Link offers an estimated 201-230 km of range on a full charge. The Innoson IVM EX01, designed for daily commuting and city driving, offers a balance between performance and affordability and also has a 201-230 km range.

The flagship Innoson IVM EX02 is designed to combine luxury, performance and efficiency, providing an estimated 330-400 km range for longer journeys. An alternative price option for the IVM EX02 offers its advanced features and range in a more affordable version.

“Additionally, we are actively working on expanding charging station infrastructure across the country to support the growing adoption of EVs,” the company said.
