Nebraska DOT opens RFP for EV charging stations under NEVI – Charged EVs


The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) has opened a procurement bid opportunity under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program.

NDOT has issued request for proposal (RFP) Number R231-24 for the selection of one or more qualified contractors to build, own and operate DC fast charging stations at seven sites along the I-80 corridor.

The charging stations will be funded by the NEVI Formula Program and will be required to meet all program requirements for a minimum of five years after becoming operational.

Interested vendors must submit proposals by November 4, 2024.
