As standard, the GLS 600 is available in Black, Polar White and Silver Metallic colour options; dual-tone paint shades are optional extras. Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600: powertrain, specs

Under the hood, the GLS 600 retains the familiar AMG-sourced 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 557hp and 770Nm of peak torque (up 40Nm from before). It also gets a 48V integrated starter generator that provides an additional boost of 22hp and 250Nm. The engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, sending drive to all four wheels via the 4Matic system. Mercedes claims a 0-100kph sprint time of 4.9 seconds and a top-speed of 250kph. The GLS 600 gets adaptive dampers as standard, but you can also spec it with fully active suspension that gets an exclusive Maybach drive mode.
