Kumho Tire U.S.A., the US distribution arm of Korea-based tire manufacturer Kumho Tire, has introduced two new tires for EVs: the Majesty 9 Solus TA91 EV, designed for coupes, sedans, and CUVs; and the Crugen HP71 EV, with improved all-weather performance for CUVs and SUVs.

Both feature the company’s K-Silent technology that uses sound-absorbing foam inside the tire structure and a noise-dissipating tread pattern for a quieter cabin and enhanced comfort.

Both tires also offer reinforced structural rigidity to improve vehicle stability, resistance performance to minimize power consumption, and road contact for even wear. Kumho says that, based on comparative testing against its previous generation of products, the Majesty 9 Solus TA91 EV achieved up to a 19% reduction in rolling resistance, and the HP71 EV up to a 24% reduction.

The Majesty Solus TA91 EV is available in sizes of 18 to 21 inches, and the Crugen HP71 EV in sizes of 19 to 22 inches. Both come with a 50,000-mile treadwear warranty.
