Ford Pro opens order banks for enhanced-range E-Transit van – Charged EVs

Ford Pro is rolling out the latest iteration of its E-Transit van, aiming to widen its potential customer base.

The extended-range option offers a range of up to 159 miles from 89 kWh of usable energy—a 32% increase in range over the previous model.

The van features 266 hp, 317 lb-ft of torque and dual chargers that deliver a 22% faster charging time than before. Prices, before government EV incentives, start at $51,095. The E-Transit is eligible for the federal $7,500 Commercial Clean Vehicle Tax Credit. The company is offering 19 model variants including L3 and L4 lengths, van, double-cab-in-van and single-chassis cab body styles. Ford Pro is also adding a new factory-supported electric minibus conversion to the E-Transit lineup.

The extended-range E-Transit is designed to appeal to fleets that operate in rural regions, colder climates, or on routes involving highway driving. The powertrain will also complement converted vehicles with additional weight and auxiliary power needs. Customers will be able to order the new model later this year for delivery in 2025.

“Giving customers the option to drive further between charges alongside a wide choice of body styles and support from Ford Pro’s connected ecosystem strengthens our position as their trusted partner for complete fleet solutions,” said Hans Schep, General Manager at Ford Pro, Europe.
