EV Connect, a charging management software developer, and bp pulse, a UK-based supplier of EV charging infrastructure, have announced a collaboration to bring key capabilities of Omega, bp pulse’s EV charge management software, to the EV Connect platform.

The new offering is designed to meet the diverse charging requirements and duty cycles of EV fleets by orchestrating charging schedules, prioritizing charging based on fleet needs and providing real-time insights for informed decision-making. Omega optimizes cost-effective charging for fleets, while the EV Connect platform focuses on managing financial transactions of commercial fleets—including fleet operations in which drivers charge vehicles at home with simple reimbursement options.

“Our shared goal is to provide fleet customers with a comprehensive solution that addresses all aspects of their charging needs—no matter the location,” said Sujay Sharma, CEO of bp pulse Americas. “This collaboration allows us to combine our unique offerings into one cohesive platform.”
