The 2025 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid costs $26,250—$1,150 less than the 2024 model—and adds a new mid-range SEL Sport trim level to the lineup.

The base price, which includes a mandatory $1,150 destination charge, is for the base Blue grade that is also the most fuel efficient. It’s EPA-rated at 54 mpg combined (51 mpg city, 58 mpg highway) while other models are rated at 50 mpg combined (49 mpg city, 52 mpg highway). Those numbers are unchanged from 2024.

The new-for-2025 SEL Sport starts at $28,225 with destination. It adds features like 17-inch wheels, aluminum pedals, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. It’s also the new entry point for the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and digital instrument cluster. While some Hyundai models are finally getting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Elantra Hybrid retains wired versions for now.

The top Limited grade is priced at $29,450 with destination—the same as the 2024 model. It adds heated and ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, and some additional driver aids, among other features.

Hyundai updated the styling of both hybrid and non-hybrid Elantra models for 2024, and also gave the base Elantra Hybrid Blue a $1,700 price hike that’s largely been reversed by the 2025 model’s pricing. The Elantra Hybrid launched for the 2021 model year as part of the current-generation Elantra lineup, marking the first time Hyundai has offered a hybrid version of this compact sedan.

Rivals include the Toyota Corolla Hybrid, which starts at $24,635 and achieves a maximum 50 mpg combined, as well as the revived 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid, which costs $29,845 and is rated at 49 mpg combined.
