Toyota, VW transferred Russian property with out buyback choice, document says

Toyota and Volkswagen Staff transferred their Russian property to Russian entities with no buyback choice, Russia’s RIA atmosphere information company reported.

“The Toyota asset transfer deal, just like the Volkswagen deal, does not include an option to buy back production sites,” RIA quoted Russia’s Deputy Top Minister Denis Manturov as announcing right through an interview.

Russia and Toyota mentioned in March that the Jap automaker transferred the possession of its St. Petersburg manufacturing unit development, apparatus and land to the Russian atmosphere entity NAMI, with out disclosing any main points of the transaction.
