TO THE EDITOR:

Relating to “VW exec: Touch controls ‘did a lot of damage,’ ” autonews.com, June 25): Center of attention teams don’t all the time determine so neatly. I lately sat in a untouched Volkswagen and spotted the common quantity knob long past. In an instant I assumed, everybody desires to be Tesla. Or {that a} more youthful demographic desires the entirety to be on a weighty display like a online game. Your windscreen is your unedited fact, now not the dashboard.

It’s intuitive to have a quantity knob, as one instance. I couldn’t consider Volkswagen emblem’s Thomas Schäfer extra! Fortunately, a CEO has some usual sense.
