BMW’s smallest crossover is getting an injection to spice up efficiency.
The 2024 BMW X1 M35i xDrive zips in to U.S. retail outlets in October, launch at $50,895, together with transport.
The 312-hp, M Efficiency variant runs on a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder motor that hurries up the compact crossover from 0-to-60 mph in 5.2 seconds.
BMW mentioned the engine is the “most potent” four-cylinder model of its untouched year of engines. It options redesigned consumption ports and combustion chambers and updates to the camshaft timing, injection, ignition device and exhaust gasoline routing.
