Daimler Truck introduces its TruckCharge brand in Europe – Charged EVs

Daimler Truck has unveiled its European TruckCharge brand, which consolidates in one package the company’s truck charging offerings.

TruckCharge, which is available irrespective of truck brand, is designed for truck fleet operators and industrial companies with their own or an outsourced fleet. TruckCharge will officially launch in September.

The brand’s Depot Charging package includes consulting, hardware sales and technical service as well as financing from Daimler Truck Financial Services for charging infrastructure, available through Daimler Truck partner Alpitronic.

Consulting services for fleet operators encompass planning, building and designing depot charging infrastructure, grid connection, and assistance in identifying public funding opportunities. Digital services comprise operation of the vehicle fleet, including intelligent charging management and payment functions for charging outside of the depot.

“We want to make e-mobility simple and profitable for our customers,” said Karin Rådström, CEO, Mercedes-Benz Trucks. “With TruckCharge, we are now bundling our range of solutions under one brand and plan to continuously expand the portfolio.”
