GreenPower’s EV Star REEFERX electric refrigerated truck – Charged EVs

Canadian electric truck and bus manufacturer GreenPower Motor has unveiled its EV Star REEFERX refrigerated medium-duty truck.

The EV Star REEFERX is designed for mid- to last-mile refrigerated delivery and catering applications with a range of up to 150 miles. The vehicle features a seamless interior wall structure for improved sanitation, durability and consistency of insulation, which is provided by standard three-inch-thick closed-cell PET foam.

The truck, which is flat-packed for quick assembly by dealers, is built on the company’s EV Star Cab & Chassis platform. It has fully customizable box configurations and a lighter body that allows for increased payload capacity of up to 5,500 lbs. Customizable options include low- or high-voltage refrigerator units, various insulation thicknesses, and roll-up and side doors.

“Through this offering, we are able to provide fleet owners a reliable way to deliver refrigerated and frozen goods on daily routes, making it a superior product for a wide use of applications requiring multi-temperature zones,” said Brendan Riley, President of GreenPower.
